That’s right folks, we’ve got the new Kempner repeater under way. Tower parts where delivered this morning and the foundation is being worked on as we speak. If we don’t get er finished up today, we will have it finished within the next 48 hours one way or another. this will re-connect back all Kempner South and Chica Ranch customers. Additionally, at some point today or tomorrow, our 7 creeks backbone tower climb will be complete and you folks should be back online as well.
Furthermore, after many complaints, Chris has completely re-installed our phone system and worked out all the bugs so it works nice and smooth and fluid now, alot more simple to use. Over the course of the last week I have completed most of the training with our 2 new office staff. Our office Manager Michelle is super quick on her feet and knows everything she needs to now to assist in call customer matters. So, should you be having connection issues, a billing issue, setting up an appointment for service, or have a poor performing circuit due the massive amounts of poor installations done over the last few weeks, Michelle is our top customer contact moving forward. Chris is going to be joining will in the field so we can get a 3rd field crew going to help correct lots of these issues. She is fully authorized to handle any customer issues that may arrise.
As many as you have no doubt learned over the last 7 days there has been a drastic shift and improvement in customer response times, complete information on support tickets, and things getting fixed properly in a hurry. For the quickest response time, we do as that you call during our normal office hours and make Michelle aware of your situation. She will be creating or adding to your support ticket, as that is our only form of official communications in regards to accounts.
With the extremely problematic situation that had developed over the last 6 months now solved, Hyper Fusion can move forward in bringing on some fully trained and solid field folks to make Hyper Fusion even greater than it already is and over the summer will be coming by to bring each and every circuit we currently operate up to current Hyper Fusion code, as prescribed and demanded by our owner to main a strict level of high performance with our data circuits.
So, with everything else going on and us recovering from our internal issues that have now been fully resolved we have some storm damage to mitigate. Being that we have full control of the field back we have set up repair days for the rest of the week.
Tuesday: Repairing Equrina Fields & Naruna customers & Our Friends 1 ( onsite wifi and arrowhead uplilnk )
Wednesday: 7 Creeks Backbone Repair & Kempner South Repeater Re-Stacking
Thursday: Lampasas & Kempner Repairs
Friday: Eagles Nest & Council Creek Repairs
We ask that you please bear with us, and at this time while we work thru this issues, if you have solid service, and you’re proud and happy to get behind us and help make our network the greatest around, we’re not asking for a penny from anyone, but if you are happy with your service, we ask that you please consider switching to 6 month or 12 month billing and enjoy some free months of service for doing so. During these storm damage repair days, these always help us out. If you’d interested in switching to 6 month or 12 month billing, please email sales@hyperfusiontech.com or open a new support ticket.
Exciting news everyone, we have completed another few km of installing our own PRIVATE fiber. We terminated it, we put it up on the big boy poles with big boy toys all our own. No sticker slapping for us! We are the ONLY new provider with privately owned fiber. We have also completed the full fiber DMARC installation. We removed the splice point side we had with the shed on it, and got big boy underground fiber containers. We replaced the wireless link we had going between the Kempner Gateway. With this change now in place, Kempner North has officially been converted to the Kempner Gateway! We can pump 3 pairs of 100 Gbps worth of thru put into this tower if we want it folks, so there’s PLENTY to go around. We have to swap out a switch and add another server to the tower and some battery backups and put the new night vision cameras up, but other than that, the Kempner North site since its directly fiber connected will be running at the full 10 gig link speed which means we can start spinning off gigabit fiber to the home services off this site now!
Chica Ranch, your the next fiber run up or maybe River Place. Point is folks, you’ve seen our guys running our own fiber. The timing might have been poor, but we can run about 1km of fiber per day the way we’re running. With this fiber project now complete we will be coming over and catching up on all our customer repairs, and once that’s caught up Burnet Main will be getting a complete rebuild and recondition. And we’ve got all 10 Gbps networking gear. Hands down creaming the competition in the area. We’ve also got a fiber DMARC tap point located right on the edge of town as pictured. =)
1st Dark Fiber Tap Site.
Lampasas DMARC @ 183 and E Ave J.
Kempner DMARC @ The Old Kempner North, which is now Kempner Gateway.
No sticker slapping here. We installed it, our gear.
Working on big boy utility poles.
Doesn’t the old Kempner Gateway site look so pretty with the ugly gear house gone?
Hey everyone, summer is almost here! Thankfully most of the heavy storms that where impacting our network is finally over so things should become a lot more stable. As our network has been in place now for almost 2 years, yes, that’s right, Hyper Fusion’s 2nd birthday is coming up soon! With that in mind, we decided it’s time to go back and comb thru everything that helped us get started. There have been a few recent complains regarding not being able to get a hold of anyone at Hyper Fusion. I’ve committed to making myself available at the call center for all customers, Monday thru Friday from 10am to 3PM, myself. Outside of those hours, we may have phone staff available. However, the best way to contact us, is to make a response on your open support ticket or create a new one. I will ensure that every ticket gets replied to the same day from now on. I know that many of you are having some issues, and it’s my aim to address EVERY one of them.
The South Network
For those of you who don’t know, our South Network is powered by our primary distribution repeater. When that repeater or the south network gateway are impacted, the rest of the downlink repeaters as well are effected, which are Eagles Nest and Kingsland North on the west leg, 7 Creeks, Burnet East, and 29 East, are on the east leg, and Naruna, Equrina Fields, Lampasas South, Lampasas West, Lampasas East, and Lampasas west are on the north leg. We’ve recently discovered a tree that since we installed the primary wireless link between our south network gateway and Burnet Main has drastically grown much more then we expected. We believe this to be the root cause of a lot of our south network issues and the tree people are coming to give that bad boy a hair cut tomorrow and this should resolve all our south network issues. It took a long time to find because we were working backwards and even I didn’t realize how many customers we had on the south network now. It’s amazing how many customers we truly did pack on in these 2 short years.
The North Network
Our North network currently is powered by our primary distribution repeater which is Kempner North. The east leg consists of Kempner South and Chica Ranch, the west leg consists of 580 Midway, the south leg consists of Our Friends 1 and Arrowhead Ranch. Our north network has remained far more stable then our south network for obvious reasons. However, our north network officially has almost twice the customers as the south network and as such our current primary distribution tower is fed by a primary wireless uplink of around 700 Mbps top access and we’re nearing close to exhausting that bandwidth. In an effort to stay ahead of the game, as I’m sure some of you have probably noticed, our crews are working hard to take down the wireless link that powers our primary distribution tower and get it fiber connected with 3 pairs of 10 Gbps capable fibers. We hope to throw the new fiber live on Monday. Unlike the other guys, we string and run our own PRIVATE fiber on utility poles right along side the other big boy providers. We don’t just slap our sticker over someone elses fiber install job and call it ours. The next fiber run up for the north network will be fiber connecting the Chica Ranch tower. So, fiber is actively being built by us out that way!
HyperNET V2 Launch Almost Here
We are also actively working in linking both networks into 1 so that all customers data can traverse anywhere across our network to hit the fiber gateway closest to them, and the least use to always ensure both connectivity, stability, and always delivering the speeds we promise to deliver. Another big change that will come when we merge the networks, is the deployment and complete conversion to a pure digital IPv6 system. Since we prepared smartly, all you’ll have to do is make sure your IPv6 on your router is enabled and set to Automatic, then reboot your router. The south network is already “HyperNET v2 ready” so, if your on the north network to speed along the process, please email a photo of the bottom of your router clearly displaying your routers MAC address to noc@hyperfusiontech.com to make sure your router is activated in the new v2 system.
What else does the HyperNET v2 Launch bring? We have been diligently testing our HyperNET Mobile 4G LTE SIM cards, and the HyperNET v2 launch, will allow a subscribed device to float from your home internet ( either fixed point wireless or fiber ) onto our nationwide 4G LTE partner and never lose connection. Additionally, when ever you come near one of our privately owned 5G mobile cells, your connection will stop consuming your 4G LTE data ( which is extra and charged and works just like a traditional mobile 4G provider, this is meant to take the place of your big box wireless provider as well ). We already have some customers as well as staff using this SIM cards, and with the addition of a 2nd Nationwide provider, the HyperNET will be stronger and have access to more towers than any other big box provider even. The next evolution in data is coming over this summer
Regards,
Chris

As you can see from the chart below, weather until May 9th is just tossed. As a result of this, all field work is being suspended with the exception of tower climbing and repairing customers from storm damage. As an update, we have finally got our phone systems completely fixed and now have multiple staff assigned to phones to ensure we’re getting everyones phone calls. As a reminder, please check the network status page ( https://www.hyperfusiontech.com/status ) for the latest news on network issues.
Just a quick post to let you know that starting tonight at 10PM CST thru 4AM CST. During this Audit our IT team will be going thru EVERY repeater, access point, backbone, switch, wireless channel, customer station, managed router, fiber DMARC’s, fiber to the home customers, all of it, and making sure all software is up to date, property security is engaged, and wireless channels are optimized. This should bring you back to full package once we have it completed. This audit effects the following repeater sites:
Lampasas South
Lampasas West
Lampasas East
Lampasas North
Lampasas West
580 Midway
Kempner North
Kempner South
Our Friends 1
Chica Ranch
Arrowhead
183 Midway
We will update our status page: https://www.hyperfusiontech.com/status/ When the audit is complete. We will also be going thru EVERY account and addressing every support ticket and making sure everyones account is up todate.
Our guys have fully repaired the Burnet Gateway and put a permanent fix and backup in place to prevent the slow down the south network experienced over the past week, so that’s back at full charge, so everyone on the south network, yank your video qualities back up to 4K and stream as many devices as you can. We want to test what our network can truly do with all the recent upgrades now functioning as expected.
Chica Ranch is also a little stronger then it was before and back to normal. Not 100% sure what happened exactly, but between our repeater land owner, our engineer, and Chris, they got it worked out and we’re back and 15% stronger then we were. Additionally, do the explosion of connections in the Chica Ranch area, we’ve added 2 more access points that are a bit faster and capable of alot more customers. It’s hard to believe that 2 years ago we had nothing out there, and now, as of just yesterday, we have 100 happy internet customers out there! Hyper Fusion has realized, that in order to grow and provide the best service possible, 1 repeater just doesn’t cut it, that’s why we’re committed to always adding more throughput where needed and actively monitoring our OWN WHOLEY OWNED network. Just can’t outsource that stuff when your delivering internet, you have to be able to react to issues in real time. With that in mind north network, y’all are clear to yank up your qualities to 4k as well and pack as many devices as you can on the system. And as always, please report in if your not getting your expected speeds.
Good news everyone! Hyper Fusion is growing faster and stronger than anyone could have hoped for! With that in mind, we are in the beginning stages of putting together 2 more install teams. 2 Senior CPE’s and 2 Junior CPE’s. I’m sure most of our currently waiting customers know we need more installers and we’re in a position now to be able to hire them and drastically pick up our install and repair rate. Now that all our repairs are pretty much caught up we have time and resources available to be able to pack on 2 more install crews. Please check out our jobs information page on how to apply.
Hey everyone, so I thought I’d get in the habit of posting a bit more to keep everyone in the know. As the south network experienced over the past week we’ve been having some slow downs and no connectivity issues which where due to some updated routing tables. It’s for the most part complete. However, still some work to do. So, here are the known issues, and things I’m going to work on updating this coming weekend. Also, to minimize the impact on loss of connectivity, we’ve decided to run a poll thru until April 1st to find out when our customers would prefer I run these updates. I will always runn them between 10pm and 2am, but we’re gonna let our customers pick which day. Which ever day has the most votes by April 1st, wins, and after April 1st, I will begin running updates only on that particular day in order to minimize impact on downtown.
I will be updating the phpBB message board software with its security updates this weekend and enabling the video portions of the software. Next week we will begin our upload of our customer video help files, as well as some outtakes and other videos of the filming process as we’re on our road to producing the pilot episode of our TV showed. When we release the pilot episode, we will release the name we chose for the show. Our first episode which is going to be fully self produced with the help of some of my film school friends will be uploaded to our YouTube channel so make sure you subscribe! Stay tuned for more on this….

Hyper Vision ipTV Updates
We will be updating the transcoding servers this weekend to pre-pair for our new upstream distributor. Our old provider that lost their transmission license just wasn’t cutting it. We know you folks are anxious for AMC and USA, TNN, NBC, Comedy Central, they will be back, hopefully by the end of the month. Revision B Hyper Vision Mobile devices should be ready to replace the Revision A units we have out now. The new units have MASSIVE 15ah, yes, that’s ah, not mAH, not milli amps, batteries in them. They last for DAYS and our custom designed wireless charging and wireless display cradles will be in along with them, allowing you to plug in your TV’s HDMI cable, and a supplied power adapter to the MAGNETIC charging cradle. You mount it to your wall, and your device just sticks right to it and charges and passes the video to your TV. When your ready to leave, you just grab it off the wall and go. No cables to plug in, or fuss with, never have to worry about charging it. The Revision B units will also double as 4G LTE / 5G mobile hotspots as well as a portable desktop PC that you can plug into a hotels wifi and bring your bluetooth keyboard and mouse and have a full fledged 8 core powerful workstation PC where ever you go. These will be installed with the full beta release of the Fusion OS Mobile operating system that has both an Android emulator and Apple emulator ( used under full legal license ) so customers can install apps from either source. Just like we’ve done with internet, we’re going to fuse all mobiles apps into 1 unified platform allowing you to seamlessly migrate your usage to the HyperNET. The Revision B, will release with 4 themes, the default Fusion OS theme, your own customizable theme, an Android theme, or an apple theme. This will allow customers to get familiar with Fusion OS without having to relearn a whole new “device”.
For those of you who are not subscribed yet we are not in public beta release yet. Once we get our full channel library we will be accept registrations and orders for Hyper Vision Mobile boxes as well. They will go fast and our next order will only be for 100 units. We will make an announcement when it comes time to release this awesome service. We will be the first live television provider to allow customers a TRUE pick a channel / ala-carte system.
South Network Connectivity
So, although I have repaired the routing tables, I do need to go back in and do about 3 hours of router work this weekend. When I do, we’ll be experiencing the same issues as before as I have to engage our backup primary gateway connection to handle the customer load while I make the required updates. I wish there was a way around it but there isn’t. We’re finalizing the last of the network changes to get our entire network pure IPv6 network as well as linking the networks.
Arrowhead / Cactus Creek Repeater
We are having some backbone issues due to a high amount of interference from DirecTV dishes at Our Friends 1. We have ordered a special pair of radios to work around this and expect them in before the week is out with installation being parked for next week. Once we get those up, all our Cactus Creek, Oakalla, Arrowhead, and Copperas Cove customers will be scheduled for install.
Our Friends 1 & 2
Our Friends 1 on Wednesday will be getting its complete system install so folks will be to get online, even all the way in the back. Our Friends 2 will be getting a temporary system installed before the weekend to enjoy their coming festivities. We ask that folks please continue to provide us with speed tests, and if you know how to get your Direct TV and HugestNET boxes into the highest 5GH channel possible that would be awesome.
Lampasas
We have completed our Lampasas South and Lampasas East repeaters and they are now ready for customers. As we’ve learned from our recent meeting with the current Mayor of Lampasas, the city intends on running their own internet themselves and charging it on their utilities bills. As such, unless any Lampasas customers are able to pull permits to hang fiber on their utility poles at this time. If you do not want this, we encourage ALL our customers and potential customers to call the Mayors office and DEMAND they let Hyper Fusion on the utility poles. If all of you Lampasas folks stand up to the city and demand they let other people in that would be help maybe encourage it.
Burnet Fusion Fiber
Later this week we will be installing our Burnet Fiber DMARC location and later next month we will be ready to start running lines to Burnet Fiber To The Home and Business customers. Thankfully, Burnet is a lot easier to work with then Lampasas as they are interested in expanding and growing. Not so much over there.
Website & Fusion Portal Updates
This weekend on Saturday I will be running some MASSIVE website updates and Fusion Portal updates. Mostly running some security system upgrades and installing our custom programmed firmware on all of our gear. We’ve already experienced most customers experiencing doubling in speeds and latency as low as 15ms. We’ve also grown so much we had to move our Fusion Portal server to it’s own new dedicated server. Not only do we lease co-location space for our servers in 2 different data centers now, but we also have 2 different physical fiber uplink providers now, and will be plugging in 2 more fibers to each of these gateway’s ( Kempner & Burnet ) so that each gateway itself have 2 different fibers feeding them as well. In mid-May we will be adding a 5gig Verizon line and a 5gig Cogent line. This will super increase redundancy and drastically reduce downtime.
Delivery Network Updates
In case most folks didn’t know, what Hyper Fusion refers to it’s “Delivery Network” we are referring to our network of towers, fiber access DMARC’s, long haul fiber, privately owned dark fiber, and partner networks. ALL of our delivery network infrastructure is 100% wholelly owned with the exception of our WORLDWIDE and MULTIPLE wireless 4G LTE providers. yes, folks, if you didn’t know, our HyperNET SIM cards work WORLDWIDE! No switching or buying different SIM cards when you go to London to catch the symphony. 1 Bill, all your devices, 1 service, 1 network. The HyperNET is here folks. It’s the internet re-mastered! With that in mind, we will be putting up some new 5g mobile cells in Burnet today as well as getting the mounts up over in downtown Lampasas and Lampasas’s 5g wireless system is coming folks. We hope to have it installed in time for Spring Ho.
New Headquarters Coming!
That’s right folks, Hyper Fusion is growing so much, our little temporary office just isn’t working for us any longer. We have made the decision to start looking for a property to serve as Hyper Fusion’s first HQ Campus. We’re looking for enough land so we can build separate buildings for our Call Center, Datacenter, Machine Shop, Warehouse, Yard for all the tower stuff and heavy machine equipment, and of course, the Administrative offices. We have several locations in mind, once we settle on one, we will be starting a long extensive project of running a new SUPER heavy duty backbone bunker fiber from a datacenter in South Austin, thru the Burnet / Marble Falls area where it will link into our new HQ Campus, and then continue on all the way thru to San Angelou.
Once the new campus is complete we will be doing lots of hiring. We’ve already started looking at folks, so if your looking for a summer job, check out our jobs page. Also, if your interested in being an installer, there is no experience required. We have a unique system that allows us to take workers freshly graduated from highschool and have them operating as high end highly productive engineers.
Hey everyone thought I’d make a post about everything that’s happened this week, and moving thru weekend. There’s lots of stuff to go thru so we’ll take it it one item at a time! lol. First and foremost, we are aware of the Facebook chatter today regarding a customer not getting his refund. Right off, as we always do, we took care of that and refuse to make a spectacle online and stoop to the nay-sayers level. We have made a STRICT commitment to instead, accept the criticisms, learn, and improve our game instead. And yes, because someone posted on Facebook, it did happen a little faster. One way or another Hyper Fusion will ALWAYS make every account of ours right, it’s what we do. We however can not control the other folks who haven’t had good experiences with us, but we refuse to stoop to their level. We have made every account right and are improving our process better and better every day. We’re always upgrading, we’re always working, some of us, 7 days a week, to provide the best possible internet to the Hill Country. That’s the Hyper Fusion difference. We are out there putting in BRAND NEW non-AT & T already existing infrastructure. With that in mind……
Burnet Gateway Change Over
On wednesday we began the first phase of our upgrade to get our entire network meshed into 1 fluid seamless network with our 5G system and with our nationwide 4G partners. Along with this change, we’ve had a complete change and restructuring of our IP scheme, IPv6 is on the horizon folks! The IPv6 upgrade will be complete by the time the month as out, and as we know about all the Lampasas competitors only having 1 fiber line AND both Marble Falls competitors being only on a single OLD ancient fiber line that was put in by the LCRA, it’s not even their own private fiber. What does this mean for Hyper Fusion? We can PROUDLY say that we are the ONLY multi-honed redundant provider outside of the big cable companies ( ie Spectrum, Century Link, and AT & T ) that are redundant in this fashion. BOTH of our redundant fiber lines are capable of running up to 100 gigs if we need it, so PLENTY of bandwidth. This month we will be working non-stop to complete this upgrade and interlink our entire north and south networks into 1 network with multiple gateways to provide awesome redundant and reliable service. Remember, we have picture proof and post it proudly when we drill our own private fiber. Don’t be fooled by the other guys who are just “reselling” AT & T’s already over exhausted network.
What does the change over mean for our customers?
While we go thru the network upgrades, connectivity on the south network may slow as the slower connection was in Burnet. The Fusion Portal will not be available unless you access it from your home internet that you have thru us already live. Additionally, the phone system will be down as well. All our servers got IP address changes to get ready for the IPv6 change over, with that we had to change our IPv4 address. Once this process completes we will have QUADRILLIONS of free public static address for everyone. It will also eliminate the need for several outdated networking services servers that will no longer be needed like the other guys are still running. We boast a 100% pure digital network and will be making the upgrade required to get our IP’s into the digital age as well.
HyperNET Mobile Public Beta Release
Along with these upgrades we are now releasing our public beta release of our HyperNET Mobile. You can use any unlocked android device ( experience may vary with newer iPhones ) $25 for a pre-activated plug and go SIM card. Our public beta release will be a pay as you go data plan with multi-gig and unlimited plans in the works for the Full Release planned for this summer. Contact sales@hyperfusiontech.com if your interested. the HyperNET Mobile service is meant to replace your traditional mobile cellular provider. Voice and SMS are provided 100% free as a courtesy. 1 Bill, Home internet, mobile internet, mobile phone, and sms, all on 1 bill. The HyperNET is what sets Hyper Fusion apart. We’re the only provider in the area that offers this type of service. Our special HyperNET SIM cards work not just with 1 nationwide partner, but FOUR of them! So, service all over is almost guaranteed. Of course the speeds aren’t guaranteed, but at least you’ll always get something! We have worked some unique partnerships with several major nationwide existing well established nationwide 4g LTE providers to bring you this awesome service.
Over the spring we will be working on upgrades to mesh our home and business internet service seamlessly with our partner 4g LTE networks in line with ours to allow all our customers to move where ever they want in the US, still stay connected with highspeed internet, have 1 single bill for it, and not get charged an arm and a leg like the other guys. Just another way Hyper Fusion is changing up the game, shaking things up, and breaking thru the status quo.
We have completed an upgrade on our Burnet Gateway. This should improve overall network health. During the next 48 hours the Fusion Portal will NOT be available from outside your Hyper Fusion internet while the IP changes propagate thru out the internet. If you do not have connectivity, please power cycle your circuit. All connectivity should be fine, but access to the Fusion Portal and the phone system may be out of sorts thru-out the weekend while the IP’s change, flush, and update.
